Error: The API could not handle all this pivot

When using the LinkedIn Company Page connector in Catchr, you may see this error message:

“The LinkedIn Ads API could not handle all this pivot.”

This issue occurs when you attempt to filter your data using more than one “Follower” field simultaneously. (ie, Follower Company Size, Follower Association, Follower Country, Follower Function, Follower Industry, Follower Region, Follower Seniority)

Why does this error occur?

The limitation comes from the LinkedIn Ads API itself:

• LinkedIn only allows one “Follower” field to be used as a filter.

• If you try to filter on multiple “Members” fields (e.g., Members Joined and Members Clicked together), the API request fails.

How to fix this?

• Use only one “Follower” field at a time when choosing dimensions or applying filters.

• If you need to analyze multiple fields, create separate queries or charts instead of combining them in a single pivot.
