When working with Google Ads data, you can easily track custom conversions by using the right dimensions and metrics.
Dimension: Conversion Name
Metrics:
Conversions
Total conv. value
These fields allow you to see the number of conversions and the total value of each custom conversion.
You have two options to analyze specific conversions:
Include the Conversion Name
in your query
This will display all conversions by name, so you can compare them directly.
Apply a filter on Conversion Name
This lets you keep only the conversion(s) you are interested in (for example, “Purchase” or “Signup”).
If you want to see the total purchase conversions by campaign:
Add Campaign Name
as a dimension.
Add Conversions
and Total conv. value
as metrics.
Filter by Conversion Name = Purchase
.
This way, you will get clean insights on the exact conversion type you want to track.
