TikTok Ads allows advertisers to track Custom Events on their website or app (for example: custom conversions, button clicks, or specific user actions).
Catchr retrieves these Custom Events metrics directly from the TikTok Ads API and makes them available in your reports.
Catchr currently supports the following TikTok Ads Custom Event metrics:
Website Custom Events
Custom Page Events (Website)
Cost Per Custom Page Event (Website)
Custom Page Event Rate (Website)
Value Per Custom Page Event (Website)
Custom Page Events Value (Website)
App Custom Events
Custom Events (App)
Unique Custom Events (App)
Cost Per Custom Event (App)
Cost Per Unique Custom Event (App)
Custom Event Rate (App)
Value Per Custom Event (App)
Custom Event Value (App)
TikTok Ads does not provide a “Custom Event Name” dimension in its API.
This means:
You cannot break down metrics by individual Custom Event names
If multiple Custom Events exist, their values are aggregated together
You cannot identify which specific Custom Event generated the results
This limitation comes directly from the TikTok Ads API and is not specific to Catchr.
Catchr continuously monitors TikTok Ads API updates.
As soon as TikTok Ads makes Custom Event segmentation available via their API, Catchr will update its connector to allow:
Event-level breakdowns
More detailed Custom Event analysis
Custom Events metrics are supported and returned by the TikTok Ads API
No Custom Events Name dimension is available to segment these events
Catchr will add segmentation as soon as TikTok Ads provides it
