Error Looker Studio : The gateway has timeout.

What does this mean?


Looker Studio has a 5-minute wait limit for requests. If the request takes longer, Looker Studio stops waiting and shows this error. This means that the platform API (e.g., Meta Ads API, HubSpot API, Play Store API ect.) hasn’t responded in time.

What you can do:


Wait 1-2 minutes and refresh your browser page. Catchr has a caching system that continues waiting on the request even if Looker Studio times out. When you refresh, Catchr will serve data from its cache, bypassing the delay. The cache is held for one hour.
Try reducing the data load by selecting a shorter time period.
If the error continues, it may indicate that the data requested is too large to return within the time limit. In this case, the best solution is to use an intermediate table between Looker Studio and Catchr. You can follow this tutorial to set up the intermediate table. We recommend Google Sheets for moderate data sizes; for larger datasets, BigQuery is ideal.
