How to create a new Source ?

To start using your data on any of our destinations, you must create a new Source.

What is a Source ?

It is the bridge between a platform (Meta Ads, Google Ads, Matomo, Shopify, etc.) and Catchr. Once created, you can send your data to any destination (Looker Studio, Google Sheets, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).

How to create a new Source ?

Go to app.catchr.io and click on the menu Source.
On the top right, click on Add a new source.
Select your platform and follow the steps to link it (either log into your account or create a new API Key on the platform manager).
Once your Source is created, you should see your available accounts. Here is an example of a successfully created Meta Ads source:

You can activate your account. If an inactive account is requested at one of the destinations, it will automatically become active.

How to use your Source?

Once your account is visible, you can use them on any destination:
Looker Studio: Go to the connector list and select the one that matches your platform, then create reports.
Google Sheets: Install our Add-on and create requests to import data into a spreadsheet automatically.
PowerBI, Tableau, CSV, JSON: Go to the API menu on Catchr and start creating a request. Then, use it on the destination. Here is the documentation to create a request.
BigQuery: Link a Database and create a new Datastream to populate it.

I cannot find my platform to add a new Source. What can I do?

If your platform is unavailable on the "Add a source page," we have not yet developed this integration.
You can contact us on the chat and ask for this specific platform. A developer will check if we can connect to it, and we will schedule the development to add it.
We might ask you to provide an account with actual data to finish developing the integration.
