How do you create a request for PowerBI / Tableau / CSV / JSON ?

Once you have added a source on Catchr, you can create requests a request to get your data into PowerBI or Tableau or get a stream in CSV or JSON format.

How to create a new request ?

Go to the [API](https://app.catchr.io/data-connector/api) menu.
Select your output format at the top left:

Select your platform (click on the "+" to add a new account for this platform or on the platform name to select it).

Select one or multiple accounts.

Select your metrics (some platforms do not have metrics; this step does not appear then).

Select your dimensions.

Select your date range.

Apply filters (an AND logical operator separates multiple filters).

Apply options if necessary (if nothing is used in the options, we will take the platform default options).

Clicks Preview at the top right to test your new request.



If the request is successful, the next step is to copy the generated URL. This URL can then be used on your desired destination, such as PowerBI or Tableau, to import the data or generate a stream in the chosen format.
If the request is unsuccessful, try removing some fields, the major issue is caused because some fields cannot be mixed up (it is usually a bad idea to add all the fields and launch the preview) or write to for advice.
